best groom our NCOs for Sentry Duty.
SCRIPT
Welcome to your Sentry training, Marines!
Today, you'll learn everything you need to know to man the Sentry post.
Please keep your questions and/or comments for the end.
In order to man the Sentry post, you must use the designated rug.
The one by the 2nd gate is where you'll stand.
The command to teleport yourself to the Sentry post is :man
('man' as in Man the Post)
Knowing how to let people in is important.
Knowing WHO to let in us even more-so.
Let's start with the HOW.
By using the two levers on your desk, you can work the two gates.
This is self-explanatory. The lever closest to each gate will control that gate.
There is an Anti-Rush system implemented, so you won't get rushed.
Note that people can NOT exit through this gate as this system will not allow it.
There are two commands that you'll need to know.
These are :lobby and :pen
When a person is on the rollers, typing :lobby will eject them back into the lobby.
Use this command when someone who shouldn't enter - has made it to the rollers.
The :pen command will send Recruits to the Recruit Pen.
Its absolutely necessary that they were completely equipped before teleporting them.
This includes the motto: [USMC] Recruit
The Friends & Support badge, and the appropriate uniform from the mannequins.
If you want to go the extra mile, look for virals!
Virals are brand new accounts (4 days or newer) with little to no friends and badge activity.
These people are NOT to be recruited, and must be informed that they cannot join.
Let's discuss the WHO.
Personnel of USMC are allowed entry, of course.
You MUST make sure they have the appropriate motto, uniform and badge equipped.
The 'Personnel' badge is mandatory. However,
Note that Enlisted ranks only have the Friends & Supporters badge.
Grant them entry like this.
'Recognized' military personnel are allowed into our base.
These can be found on a Purple sticky within the HQ.
Anyone from such a military can enter the HQ, but not the VIP area.
Please make sure you look for this, instead of denying them entry for not being a Marine.
Any questions / comments / concerns?
END OF AIT / SCRIPT
Once completed, please inform all E-4 personnel that took part to include
{S} at the end of their Motto. If they already have an AIT tag, tell them to ADD the S.
